The Boys...

Robbie's 10th birthday was a great time! He loved his Binocular Cake, figured out right away what it was. Lee and I had a debate about it because I did not use brown frosting, but chose the yellow because Rob's first pair of binoc's were yellow. Nonetheless, he loved it, and it tasted great too!

Today I finally finished KC's quilt. I started it before he was born, so it took me 27 months from start to finish...now obviously I did not work on it all the time, or it would have long since been completed, but such is the way of a quilter!
He was so happy to finally have it, since I've been showing it to him as I went along, that he grabbed it and did the "drape" with it. This boy is a real "Linus" about his blankets! I was really glad that he indeed likes the quilt, and that he got it before he left for college!
